By placing an order, registering an account, or using any Kids BioCare™ service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you are purchasing services on behalf of a minor (a person under 18), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to enter into these Terms on their behalf.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or purchase a Kids BioCare™ service. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders where these requirements are not met.
Kids BioCare™ provides the following services:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice. Where a service you have purchased is discontinued before delivery, we will provide a full refund.
Kids BioCare™ services are for informational and educational purposes only. The biological insights, reports, and guidance provided through our testing services and consultations are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. They do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your GP, midwife, or qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or your health during pregnancy. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it based on information received through Kids BioCare™ services.
Our Biomedical Doctor consultations are clinical guidance sessions based on your biological test results. The doctors who provide these consultations are qualified medical professionals; however, the consultations are designed to complement, not replace, your relationship with your GP or specialist. Any clinical recommendations made during a consultation are advisory in nature.
In the event of a medical emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency services immediately.
By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected programme at the stated price. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order. Your order is confirmed when you receive a written order confirmation by email.
All prices are stated in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, any change will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major debit and credit cards processed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
Promotional codes are single-use, subject to expiry dates, and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to withdraw promotional codes at any time.
Testing kits are dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days of order confirmation. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by postal services or circumstances beyond our control.
Samples must be collected and returned in accordance with the instructions provided in your kit. We are not responsible for results affected by samples that are:
Where a sample is received in an unacceptable condition, we will notify you and, at our discretion, provide a replacement collection kit at no charge or offer a partial refund.
All samples are analysed by our ISO 15189-accredited partner laboratories. We aim to deliver results within 2–3 weeks of the laboratory receiving your sample; however, this is not guaranteed and may be subject to laboratory capacity.
Biological testing involves inherent scientific limitations. NGS microbiome analysis reflects the microbial composition of your sample at the time of collection and may vary with diet, medication, and other factors. Blood biomarker results reflect your status at the time of the blood draw. Results should be interpreted in context with your overall health history.
Your results will be made available through BioHealthcare Hub™ once laboratory analysis is complete. Results are personal to you and must not be shared publicly or used to make claims about any third party.
We retain the right to withhold or delay the release of results if we have reason to believe that their immediate release could cause harm, pending clinical review.
Results may contain information about genetic predispositions and health risk factors. By ordering genetic or microbiome testing, you acknowledge that results may reveal information that could be unexpected, complex, or emotionally significant — and you consent to receiving such information.
GI biomedical doctor consultations are included with every Kids BioCare™ programme and are conducted online via video call. You will receive a link to book your consultation once your results are available.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase ("cooling-off period"), provided your testing kit has not yet been dispatched and no laboratory work has commenced. To cancel, contact us at info@kidsbiocare.com.
Once your testing kit has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. If you return the kit unopened and unused within 14 days of receipt, we will issue a refund minus the dispatch and administration cost (currently £15).
Once your sample has been received by the laboratory and analysis has commenced, we are unable to offer a refund as the service has been substantially performed.
If your kit arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement at no charge.
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method.
Access to BioHealthcare Hub™ is provided as part of your Kids BioCare™ programme. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must not share your account with any person other than those in your immediate family for whom you are managing test results.
We aim to maintain Hub availability at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where possible. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any programme or service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that programme or service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from your use of our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer resident in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer law protections.
We are committed to resolving any complaints fairly and quickly. If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@kidsbiocare.com in the first instance. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider or the courts.
